Gene Henry:
Hey friends. This is Gene Henry with New Homes South here in Conway, South Carolina. I hope this video finds you well, and great to have you here. Today I’m going to be talking a little bit about some of the top reasons to move here to Conway, South Carolina. I hope you’ll stick around.

So why move to Conway? Well, my main reason would be that you get more house for your money than Myrtle Beach or most of the country for that matter. Conway is a beautiful historic river town that’s constantly growing and getting better. New homes are being built everywhere. You simply get more house, more yard space, and more options for less money. Another reason to talk about is that South Carolina consistently ranks in the top 10 states for the lowest cost of living and lowest taxes. So your money goes a little further here, which is especially great for people with fixed income. And of course, we can talk about our awesome weather. Now, it’s hot during the summer and we can have a few cold snaps during the winter, but more days than not, we have a lot of sunshine and mild beautiful weather. There is so much to do here.

We have access to a ton of sporting and recreational activities. If you enjoyed getting outside, boating, fishing, golf, or any kind of sports except for hockey, sadly, we really have so many options. We also have nightlife and plenty of things to do on those rainy days. Living in Conway puts you less than 30 or 35 minutes away from anything along the Grand Strand and its beaches. Conway is also home to Coastal Carolina University, and they have awesome college sports events year round. Lastly, I would talk about our atmosphere and our location. We are one of the oldest cities in the US, and we have a beautiful downtown area and a beautiful marina. Southern hospitality is very alive here, and you see it just about everything. Conway is growing so fast, we’re getting new things all the time. It’s really an exciting time to be in our community.

Our location is ideal. We have the Waccamaw River running through our town, and we’re probably 35 minutes to the beach, so there are plenty of ways to cool off during the summer. Conway is just outside of Myrtle Beach, but within a short drive to everything. We are also about two hours from Wellington, North Carolina and about two and a half hours from Charleston, South Carolina. I like to take advantage of the festivals and events they have, along with all the happenings on the Grand Strand. There are so many things I could mention that would be great reasons to move here, but you really need to come and experience it for yourself and see if Conway is a good fit for you. Thank you again for watching. I’m Gene Henry with New Homes South from Conway, South Carolina. Hope to see you next time.
